ARTIST INFORMATION
The memorable, distinctive music of versatile recording artist/songwriter/performer GR Pick has found its way to all corners of the world. His composing, arranging, and producing credits over a multi-decade career include 3 staff songwriting deals, an artist contract with World Disc Music, 15 CDs, 2 network TV themes, a children’s educational series, and numerous other recordings. His recent M.A. from American University led to the recent formation of www.musicactionparty.com an org dedicated to ‘defending the defenseless’ around the world through music.
Credits include hundreds of titles at BMI, a gold record, and studio work with notable associates Diane Warren, Robin Thicke, and the late TV celebrity Alan Thicke, with whom he co-wrote the theme for ABC’s children’s series "Animal Crackups." Gary also has performed at nearly two hundred venues as a solo and dueling piano bar entertainer, featuring an all-request show.
Other projects in tow include Piandemonium, a musical about a madcap night in a piano bar, Stroka’Genius, a comedic golf-music show, Along the International Songline, a global musical circumnavigation, and The Attunement, a compelling sci-fi drama about music, frequency, and community.
